2 Samuel 6:12-15, 17-19
12And it was told King David, “The LORD has blessed the household of Oʹbed-eʹdom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Oʹbed-eʹdom to the city of David with rejoicing;
13and when those who bore the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatling.
14And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
15So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the horn.
17And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in its place, inside the tent which David had pitched for it; and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
18And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts,
19and distributed among all the people, the whole multitude of Israel, both men and women, to each a cake of bread, a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins. Then all the people departed, each to his house.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 24:7-10
7Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
8Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle!
9Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.
10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah
Gospel
Mark 3:31-35
31And his mother and his brethren came; and standing outside they sent to him and called him.
32And a crowd was sitting about him; and they said to him, “Your mother and your brethren are outside, asking for you.”
33And he replied, “Who are my mother and my brethren?”
34And looking around on those who sat about him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brethren!
35Whoever does the will of God is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

Ephesians 3:8-12
8To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9and to make all men see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things;
10that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.
11This was according to the eternal purpose which he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord,
12in whom we have boldness and confidence of access through our faith in him.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 37:3-6, 30-31
3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so you will dwell in the land, and enjoy security.
4Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.
6He will bring forth your vindication as the light, and your right as the noonday.
30The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.
31The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.
Gospel
John 15:9-17
9As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love.
10If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.
11These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
12“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14You are my friends if you do what I command you.
15No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
17This I command you, to love one another.
